After a residential burglary was reported to EDSO, we were able to locate some of the stolen property at a pawn shop based on serial numbers. Once we located the stolen property we were able to view surveillance from the shop and identify a suspect. This lead to finding more stolen property, including stolen quads and a trailer. That little task can help us find your stolen property and get it back to you.
Kenai has been returned home and EDSO Detectives are still looking for information that can help them identify this man who stole her. Over the weekend we received numerous tips regarding the whereabouts of Kenai. One tip in particular led detectives to the area of Rancho Cordova. After several hours of investigating potential suspects, Detectives were able to identify a transient female who was currently in possession of the dog.
In the late hours of Monday evening, Detectives responded to the area of Hagen park where the dog was safely surrendered without incident. After a quick trip to a local 24 hour veterinary Hospital, Kenai was returned home to his family.
Here are additional pictures of the man suspected of stealing a husky from its home. Detectives are actively working the case and ask that you share this, to help us identify the suspect. This person pictured is the primary suspect in the theft of a beloved pet Husky named "Keenai". He appears to be a white male adult around age 30, average height, slim build, short dark colored hair and glasses. He is seen in video wearing dark clothing and associated with a dark colored SUV, possibly a Toyota 4Runner.
