Margaritas and champagne cocktails were delicious- what a brilliant find. A gorgeous bar, with a hidden array of rooms and bars across the other 3 floors. This bar used to be a brothel, it still has some of the old decoration and some kind of decadent vibe in the different rooms.

Regarded as one of the jewels in Bairro Alto's bar scene, Pensao Amor is a 3 story bar which has the distinction of formerly playing host to a brothel in past life, and uses various sensual imagery in its decor as a representation of this This place was formerly a brothel which is converted into a bar. Quirky place with a nice decor and spread over 3 levels. Decent cocktails, a bit over priced when compared to lisbon standards.
This fabulous venue has outdoor seating and friendly helpful bar staff. The decor inside is opulent and classy. All set for a good evening then? Well no. Try looking for the toilet and happen upon member of staff in a particular room. Nice atmosphere, beautiful place, it gives you the sense of a speakeasy bar, at night. Great drinks. Monday night was busy but easy enough to get a seat.
I went to the toilets and got lost in the series of rooms and floors which make this place Beautiful paintings and decor really set the mood. Felt like I went back in time. Strong and flavorful drinks try the tea! It's worth it.
Live jazz music, very busy for a Tuesday night but great atmosphere. Nice to see a place so busy and having plenty of business. Quirky building with a lot of vintage furniture and photos on the walls. This is a wonderfully quirky blast from the past on the pink street.
