The rooms are big, clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast is excellent, huge choice and above average quality. Superb location for the Old Town and a swish shopping mall next door. The lobby is old fashioned but unlike many hotels the rooms are better than the common areas.
Well done Novotel-Orbis. Perfect location!!! The hotel was quiet-and the room was clean and comfy, but lacked character. The restraunt wasn't that great. But, it was a good place to stay in Poznan-however the city was very dirty outside the tourist area and offers VERY little to tourists.
But, we did enjoy 'the best beer I have ever had in my life' at Bravia in the down town-the food was bad-but the beer was just amazing!!!! We went four time in three days-try the honey beer.
We decided to book a superior room 7 EUR extra , which meant that we got a room on the 13th floor with a nice view over the city. The room was very clean, newly painted and had some nice furniture. We also got mineral water, a fruit basket, a bathrobe etc. We bought the Autumn Weekend offer and paid zloty a night for a superior room incl.
The breakfast buffet was very delicious and had a large selection of food. Andersa and the hotel was a minute-walk from the Old Market Square, but very close to the Stary Brovar shopping centre and a long pedestrian street. The hotel has rooms, but during the weekend we saw guests, so the service level was very high. The technical department fixed our bath tub within 10 minutes, and the chambermaids brought us pillows and blankets very quickly. On arrival we got the wrong room, and the "right" room was not ready for 4 persons.
